This tastes a lot like Bawls to me, which makes sense, as it's got guarana in it. As a sidenote, I'm glad to see that the American market is finally welcoming guarana with open arms. Josta (a defunct, at least in America, Pepsi guarana product) was just a decade too early, apparently. I'll start by making a couple of observations about this product. Firstly, the unique can allows for resealing without it going flat. So, unlike a 16oz can that goes flat after opening, you can actually enjoy three separate enjoyable approx. 8oz. servings without a severe decrease in quality of the cola (I know, as I resealed the cap on one, and enjoyed it further the following day). Jolt Ultra missed the mark nearly as badly as the Avril Lavigne Girlfriend remix with Lil Mama. To Jolt's benefit, at it didn't prattle on about introducing itself for 30 seconds after opening the can. I mean, you can repeat "Lil Mama and Avril Lavigne" all you want, I still don't know who Lil Mama is. I wasn't sure the day would ever come, but somehow the planets must have aligned because I was faced with late 80's/early 90's conundrum of "soda", "purple stuff", or "Sunny D".
