Extra Strength Formula. Was there a regular strength formula? Gold and silver adorn this ornate can. They could have worked on making the ingredients and text on the back of the can more readable. Also, the can says something about Let it Loose. I'm not sure what "it" is, but you might want to keep "it" under lock and key.

Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Lots of B and C vitamins, 81mg of Caffeine, 7mg of Taurine (yes, only 7. Why bother?), 100mg of Guarana, 100mg of Inositol, 250mg of D-Ribose. All anchored by 35g of Carbs.

Pimpjuice is Nelly's hot Premium Energy Drink that he plugs everywhere he goes. The design of it is very smooth looking, and made to look much like your standard malt liquor beverage in gold and silver. So far Pimpjuice is only offered in the 8oz size, but the can boasts of its Extra Strength Formula.

Pimpjuice is a very refreshing drink that you can't help but feel a little pimp just for drinking it. It tastes like crushed up SweetTarts with a light splash of apple tossed in there, and that is A-Ok in my book. There is no heavy syrupy thickness to it so it goes down very smoothly. The Extra Strength Formula is just right to pep up my day, and now that I have Nelly stuck in my head I really do wanna put my feet on his rug…. and dance around to the song.

Let me start by saying that Pimpjuice is not carbonated. Many Thai drinks are also not carbonated, and Pimpjuice makes up for it in the same manner with heaping mounds of sugar. The can really makes me feel important. Also, if Rockstar helps you "Party like a Rockstar", than Pimpjuice helps you "Party like a Rap Star". So you wanna be a Rap Superstar, live large, a big house, five cars, you're in charge?

Anyway, Pimpjuice was not to my liking. The aftertaste was ok, but I did not like the initial taste. To me it was like a snow cone, with about 6 times the amount of lemon/lime flavor squirts as it should have. I'm a big fan of flavor, but this stuff looks radioactive.

I didn't notice an energy difference at all. I felt like I was taking the placebo energy drink.

The value goes to the can only. At $2 a pop, the can is pretty snazzy.

I tried another pimpjuice, and had a change of heart. I felt it fair that I revise my review accordingly.

Firstly, the taste of pimpjuice is strong, as noted above, but the taste is more like green apple. Maybe I was sick when I drank it the first time, but I found the flavor much more appealing.

I also noticed that I had a little more get-up-and-go after trying it again.
