Can Text:
High-energy supplement. This bright yellow/orange can with red text really gets you excited, and with a name like burn, it's going to be edgy. (Don't get your hopes up, like I did). The sexual innuendos on the can are about as blatant as rockstar69, "Faster, Harder, Longer, Better, Hotter, Wetter"...."Wetter?" I didn't find this supplement any more wet than any other water-based beverage. The mini comet/flame on the back is probably the best thing this can has going for it.
Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Caffeine (110mg), guarana (100mg), taurine (1000mg), Siberian ginseng (100mg), b6, b12, a, c, e.

The initial taste of Source Burn was an overwhelmingly gross passion fruitlike flavor mixed with canned pineapple syrup, complete with aluminum aftertaste. The makers refer to this as their 'great citrus/tropical flavor'. Maybe I was actually tasting the vapors or perhaps smelling the strong smell as it escaped for that first sip because as I drank more the flavor did not seem as strong. I'm not sure it that's a good thing or not, but as the bad taste dissipated so did any flavor, good or bad, along with the carbonation. The can clearly instructs to Shake Gently, which I did, but the end result was a fizzless, flavorless drink. Now you may think that this soda was a total waste, but here's the great part about it: I think there was a great level of caffeine and energy goodies packed into the drink because I felt very energized after drinking Source Burn. This can totes almost twice as much caffeine as Red Bull, a record 110mg per 8.3can.
Somewhere I missed the burn sensation and fail to see how or where it pertains to the actual beverage. I would've understood more if it had a ginger beer like bite to it or even a cinnamon flavor. The interesting part about Source Burn is that it was originally formulated for Iron Man athletes and World Cup Mountain Bikers and has a lot of the same sugars and electrolytes as the leading sports drink.

6Jason's Review:
It's interesting how our language evolves, at one time, "fruity" may have been used to described a scent or flavor of something rich or flavorful, later it meant you were crazy or insane, then it became slang for gay (why do homosexuals get all the good words?). I propose yet another definition for "fruity".
Fruit-y [froo-tee]
-adjective
1. An uninspired hodgepodge flavor that many energy drink manufacturers believe consumers want, despite the apparent lack of demand for pineapple/mango/passion fruit/star fruit sodas in the non-energy drink market.
2. The ultimate 5uX0rz
Example: Monster Khaos Energy Juice, Orange County Choppers, N-Motion Sugar Free, Stinger Pounding Punch, Omega Energy Juice, and Rumba are all fruity calamities.
Please, just make some energy drinks that taste like Dr. Pepper, or Mountain Dew. Sure, I like some of the inventive flavors (particularly Bookoo Bite, which we'll be reviewing soon), but does everyone have to reinvent the wheel? In conclusion, this drink is fruity. The one positive is that when it's cold it's refreshing, until the aftertaste.
The numbers on the can are in order, caffeine content is good. I didn't really notice a whole lot. I went shopping in Bed, Bath and Beyond, and seemed a little more excited about being there than I normally would be.
At $1.99, price is way too high. Rip It Lime Wrecker is limey (not a British sailor), and fruity (not homosexual, crazy, or 5uX0rZ) and is becoming more widely available for 99 cents.

Where can I find Burn drinks? My wife is addicted to Sugar Free Burn and she's devastated they've gone by the wayside! Any help locating some would be hugely appreciated!!!

I agree with the three other posts. I like Source Burn. It is getting harder to find, but I'll buy them when I see them.

The fact that Source Burn energy drink is doing poorly with sales is because of poor marketing. This is the best energy drink out there. It has the best flavor, most potency, and the lowest price! Everyone that I introduced to this drink became a loyal drinker. It is sad that the folks at source couldn't keep it going. Now I have to pay more for an energy drink that is weaker and doesn't taste as good.

I know source burn is the BEST tasting energy drink I have had!!! It is the only one that doesn't make me shiver when I take a drink, and I finish the whole 2 serving can. I've stopped trying others because they taste HORRIBLE--just like synthetic sweeteners. The flavor as I explain it to friends is nectarine like--if you get the sugar free it just has less flavor instead of being over sweetened or aspartame flavor As far as the energy, it is the only "energy" drink that gives me energy instead of an upset stomach!!!!! I do feel my eyes lift more w/ the regular vs the sugar free. The "Burn" means you feel like your metabolism boosts and you can "burn the mid night oil".
