This may be the worst energy drink ever. I'm not even sure if the product itself or the marketing ploy is more disappointing. Let's start with a full webpage full of absolutely nothing. The part that I enjoyed the most was a Q&A section which states and restates the same idea over a series of 15 or so questions that never actually lead to any information about the beverage. Specifically the answer portions mention several times how the drink is "created especially for women", but never once tells what about this drink is great for women besides the pink packaging. Yes Tab Energy proudly states that it has only 5 calories, but there have been tons of other sodas with even less than 5 but don't market themselves as a women's product.
Tab Energy has a horribly bitter raspberry artificial sweetener taste to it. I was very shocked to see how badly this tasted after several friends recommended that I try it. Towards the end I really had a hard time trying to finish Tab because it certainly is not a smooth beverage. This is one of those drinks that I'm not upset about spending the money to get it or the fact that I got a four pack and now have two more of these terrible drinks taking up space in my fridge until I can find an unsuspecting victim to con into drinking them, but I just want to be able to warn people about how incredible bad every aspect of this product is.

Firstly, I wasn't expecting much from this beverage. I was subjected to regular tab during some of my childhood (until, thankfully, Clearly Canadian came along). On a positive note, this tastes better than regular Tab, on a negative note, that's not saying a lot. The taste is something of a watermelon flavor, only coated in fake sweetener, and some vegetable juice (for color)(yes, that is actually on the back of the can). I didn't enjoy the flavor, certainly not as much as I enjoyed Go Girl.
The energy was just another day at the office. I drink a lot of energy drinks, so it takes something above average for me to notice that it's doing something. I also have a tendency to pass out from exhaustion around 3pm if it's underpowered. I didn't really notice anything, so I'm giving it a perfect "5" for energy.
At 10.5 oz., it's a little bigger than the Red Bull Sugar Free, but lacking 5.5oz on Monster Lo Carb which is readily available for $1.50.

Tab Energy is the best thing this planet has ever conjured up. When I say that I mean it is the best combination of atoms that can possibly be created. I would have three mouths implanted (one on each elbow and another on my back) on my body so that I could consume more of it at one time and taste it from numerous points on my body.

I love energy drinks, but Tab energy is a screw up. Strange, foul taste, and very little kick.

If I was forced to only use one word to describe the taste of Tab Energy, I would have to use the word. . .PlayDough.

I absolutely love Tab Energy drink. Every Sunday my husband and I go to the grocery store, and I get a Tab Energy drink and 2 gossip magazines. However, last Sunday I went to the grocery store, and they do NOT carry Tab anymore. I was freaking out. I told my husband we had to find another store that carried them, that is what lead me to this web page. I am trying to find out where I can by Tab Energy drink....immediately. Signed Tab Lover

Lindsey: Same here. My wife and I look for Tabs at every grocer and c-store we go in to. Zippo! And this has gone on for months! I've had to--choke--resort to sugar-free Red Bulls. Kill me!

Tab Energy is my Number 1 Hated Energy Drink. I'm not sure why people say this tastes like raspberries or watermelons. The only comparison I have is this; take the taste of Robitussin. Take out the sugar and add a horrible metallic saccharine aftertaste. Now carbonate it. I could only see this as being a dietary supplement because it will likely activate your gag reflex. Energy drink for reluctant bulimics maybe?
