Can Text:

…Lost Enterprises' pathological obsession for global domination is nearly complete. So no wanting to miss any fads or trends, we asked the crew at Monster to make us a low-cal drink that doesn't taste like all the other diet crap out there. Introducing…Lost Perfect 10. It works, tastes, and mixes as good as the original, but with only 10 calories. Why not zero calories you ask? Because calories taste good. Now after you surf, skate, snowboard, or whatever all day, you can get the energy you need to party all bight with just 10 calories.

Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Tons of caffeine, guarana, and ginseng make up the 5000mg of their Energy Blend. They also pack in an extra 2000mg of taurine into each can.

This was LoCarb Monster in a different can. Now considering Lost Energy Drink is a collaboration of Lost and Monster to make a beverage, I wasn't really surprised at the similarities. Although the original Lost energy soda didn't bear such a striking resemblance to Monster, so I have to think that someone maybe just got lazy, and passed on the same recipe. Now the only real difference to me is that Lost didn't quite have the same pick-me-up as a LoCarb Monster, but that may have something to do with the disappointment I felt after having yet another energy beverage that tastes exactly the same.

Jason's Review:
The perfect 10 credo doesn't really make sense. I realize that it's 10 calories per serving, but who's going to drink half the can? Also, how can I get my waist to the target 24 inches when I'm gorging myself on 20 calories?

It tastes pretty good for a diet drink. ...Lost Perfect 10 doesn't take a bold step away from Monster Lo-Carb. In fact, I'd rate them about the same. It almost seems like the ...Lost line of energy beverages is just trying desperately to market a Monster-like drink to angry/confused/rebellious teens and pre-teens. Of course, unlike nicotine, it's OK to peddle copious amounts of addictive caffeine to teens and pre-teens.

Yes, it contains a lot of the energy good stuff. The similarities to Monster Lo-Carb didn't end with the taste, this is pretty much the same on energy too. I guess if you could get this on sale somewhere, I'd buy it over Monster. The only other reason to choose this one is if they are out of Monster, or you want everyone to know that you're a uniquely rebellious child that doesn't drink Monster.

We paid $2.19 for this, but I'm listing it at $1.99 because I know I've seen it elsewhere for that (sometimes I'm just not in the mood to try new beverages). I've never seen it on sale, which is common for other industry leaders like Full Throttle and Rockstar.
