We have had such a past with Rip It energy drinks, and there have been some really good ones, and some that were just pretty good. I have a tendency to rate energy drinks with taste in mind first, followed by energy and then value. Rip It drinks have put things in a different order though because its impossible to beat the value and the energy level is usually so high. Lime Wrecker was no different. It gave me a great pick me up, and with the $1 price tag, how can you not be impressed with what a great value this is? As far as the flavor goes, I was not impressed at all. It reminded me of a hard limeade style alcoholic beverage which gave me stomach aches. After reading the website it seems that Lime Wrecker is supposed to be a margarita flavor, and I guess I could see that, but I just wasn't happy with the taste at all. Now having said that its important to remember that this will get a high rating overall because the value and energy were so high.

10Jason's Review:
The guys at National Beverage have done it again! Great tasting soda, loaded with caffeine and taurine, for about half the price of comparable sodas. There's really no place to go wrong.
We've not yet reviewed the other new Rip It flavor, but I'll go ahead and tell you, both the new flavors are the best they've made yet. It tastes like lime jello, sans the jello, with carbonation added. The can is a fun green flavor, that makes me feel a little Irish.
I should warn readers, I'm slightly biased to tart citrus flavors. I'm a sucker for anything lime or lemon, especially lime or lemon suckers. If you don't like tart flavors, this likely isn't your drink, otherwise, this is a nice change of pace from most mainstream flavors.
As for energy, Rip It Energy Fuel has the specs to compare to any other drink on the market. My only complaint is the empty stomach feeling I get occasionally when drinking a Rip It, even after I've recently eaten. I haven't figured out what causes it, but it's reasonably infrequent, and can usually be relieved with a small snack.
Value goes without saying, at $1/each, you get 16oz. of energizing, great-tasting beverage. Everyone's a winner.

Rip it is 3 words. disgusting-crappy-and far out weak. yeah theres a lot of caffeine and it's kind of cheap. but the taste sucks and the energy level wasn't good.

i love this stuff. having only drank this and the power flavor, this is my favorite (though i do have a pomagranate and an orange that i'll probably drink soon) these are great though!!! the other day i woke up at 5, chugged one of these, and went out snowboarding till 8, then got ready for school. (i have a reasonable hill in my front yard) my advice is to try every flavor of rip-it, and see which you like the best.

i thought Rip it Lime Wrecker was not worth 1.09 of my money... it tasted like my cat pissed in a can... the company who created this should feel ashamed btw- i'm not really serious, it was ok
