Compared to Chaser 5-Hour and Rocket Shot, this drink tastes like candy. In fact, not compared to the aforementioned energy shot, BooKoo still tastes like candy. The Wild Berry is the best of the BooKoo flavors in all sizes. The taste leaves me wanting more, which is why I prefer the Wild Berry in 16oz. and 24oz. sizes.

Plenty of energy, it is a double shot, it's about the same for me as drinking a regular 16oz. energy drink. I wouldn't say a single serving creates spectacular affects, but at $1.25, you can afford to drink two, now things are really cooking. For this reason, I'm giving it an average energy rating, but exceptional value. These can really be traded off, since at $2.50 you can get exceptional energy at a reasonable value. I'll warn you, the taste is so good, you'll be hard-pressed not to drink two anyway.

To my recollection BooKoo previously only made the big 24oz. cans. We reviewed The Original Bookoo, which I believe is now the Orange flavor, and I hailed it a brilliant energy beverage, and I think nothing less of the BooKoo Wild Berry Energy Shot.

First I have to say that it?s amazing that the flavor actually matches what it claims to be. This is a great tasting beverage and since it's advertised as an energy 'shot' I don't feel bad about chugging it down fast like I usually do. It's very nicely carbonated and goes down smoothly which was a nice surprise because the other energy shots Chaser 5-Hour and Rocket Shot weren't the best tasting. I know we reviewed another BooKoo flavor and I wasn't thrilled about it at all. I suppose I'm not a big fan of orange flavored beverages, because Wild Berry really hit the spot.

I would say that this packed a nice little energy punch; definitely more pleasant than I've had in the past. This was perfect for my morning drive and gave me some pep in my step for the better part of my morning. BooKoo Energy Shot is very affordable at just a little over a dollar. This would also be great for an after lunch pick me up, to get rid of that I-want-to-take-a-nap feeling.
