Jason's Review

Let me start by saying that Full Throttle Sugar Free got less than stellar taste reviews from both of us. Having said that, we had low expectations for the taste of this beverage. Speaking of expectations, It was hard to have any others, since the can gave no indications of what it was supposed to taste like. The flaming red can made me think wild cherry, while the contents of the can turned out to be more ho-hum citrus. It's not really that bad, but the can is in no way indicative of its contents. Specifically, the flavor is like a citrus sucker with a mild synthetic pineapple/peach flavor. Acceptable, and certainly drinkable.

Now, it may be that I went to see WWE Raw (thanks to Angie buying me tickets) the night before I drank this, but I found myself pointing at most people I talked to, and being decidedly overzealous about nearly everything after drinking the Full Throttle Fury Sugar Free. At one point, I think I pointed at the phone, and told the other party of the conversation, "Diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair". Needless to say, I wasn't tired.

The price, like a broken record, was $1.99 for a 16oz. can. I can see why why Rip it is taking over market share every quarter. Though Coca Cola made a reasonably good product here, for the price, taste, and energy content, there's no comparison of this drink at twice the price to Rip It Energy Fuel Citrus X Sugar Free.

Guests's Review

I spent the whole time I drank this 16oz soda trying to figure out what the flavor was, when I realized that it doesn't have one. It's very frustrating. I did realize that it thickens very fast and leaves you with stinky breath. Also the company is very precise about the amount of taurine and ginseng it contains but no mention of the amount of caffeine it contains. And even though it seems to have plenty of taurine, it has very little B vitamins for any natural energy boosts.

I hate to sound so negative because in the end, it wasn't a bad drink. It went down smoothly and only has 5 calories per serving. It's also low in sugar and sodium. My favorite part of this is the idea that a drink with a strong, solid name like Fury comes in a light version. Sugar Free Fury just sounds funny.

Full Throttle Fury Energy Drink Sugar Free can or bottle design and textual information
Sugar Free Full Throttle Fury is the newest addition to energy drinks by the Coca Cola Company. It sports the same great logo and can layout as Full Throttle Sugar Free, except this one is red. There is no real indication of what flavor this beverage is supposed to be, but the red can leads me to believe that it will be some type of red flavor (i.e. cherry, strawberry, fruit punch).

Full Throttle Fury energy drink to me is like Fanta orange pop on steroids. I really like it and I wish I could find it in my area. When it first came out I drank a can a day for about six months then it just disappeared. Love the stuff!!
