Can Text:
Red Celeste Extreme Energy... The can itself is really more of a pinkish magenta color than red. It has some light blue lines in the background that look a lot like the spot lights you might see around a Hollywood event. Extreme Energy?? That's so last year. Extreme isn't even spelled with the capital X for Xtreme. What's with that? Otherwise, this drink contains no real fruit juice, so if you want pure fruity caffeine, better have a Rumba or Omega.
Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
The can doesn't mention anything that sets it apart from other sodas. Similar ingredients. Caffeine, two and a half times your daily value of B6, and the all important High Fructose Corn Syrup. Love that corn syrup.

My biggest qualm with this soda is that nothing about it is red. Perhaps that shouldn't bother me much, but the largest font on the can states RED. The soda itself is yellow. The heavy syrupy flavor definitely is a plus in my book, however it seems to me that that may be the ONLY good thing about the flavor. The clearly stated 'Contains no fruit juice" label on the can is very true. It should be called Red Celeste Medium Energy. Although at a $1.49 I might purchase this again in the maybe not-so-near future. As a side note, I'm a fairly gassy person, but this soda gave me some STINKY farts. Consider that a warning.

7Jason's Review:
The whole taste experience reminds me of the Ocean Spray Ruby Red grapefruit juice. If you've never had it, I should explain, I dislike regular grapefruit juice, as it's too bitter, but Ruby Red is a mild tasting grapefruit juice. Red Celeste has the same qualities, tangy, fruity flavor, and a post-gulp tingle that almost makes the back of your mouth feel like it's shrinking into your gums. Overall, I think it tastes really good.
Unlike the Red Celeste Sugar Free, I think this energy drink is accurately described as "Lightly Carbonated". Maybe they just forgot to take that statement off when redesigned (or not redesigning, in this case) the can for the Sugar Free version.
As with the Sugar Free, I felt good about the amount of energy, and the value of the $1.49 (which the price is actually part of the can) 8.3oz. beverage.
