Can Text:
The can looks just like the Power Sugar Free except orange instead of blue. Once again I should mention the appeal that the can has. The design is just really nice. The title is a bit lengthy and I feel winded after saying it. Also, what is the X for? Why doesn't Rip It Power have an x too? Since when did X become such a popular letter?
Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Taurine 2000mg, caffeine, guarana seed extract.
Angie's Review: Reviews posted after May 2007 are written by a guest reviewer referred to from this point forward as "The Stig".
This wasn't half bad, although I expected a little more from it having enjoyed the sugar free Power so much. The soda stayed nicely carbonated for the entire experience, which was very nice. The flavor is like a diet Sunkist. Even though the energy was moderate I still feel better having it come in a larger can. I just feel like I'm still getting my 98 cents worth. I think I'd rather have more soda with medium energy than a small soda that provided the same amount of energy (excluding Chaser which just rockets off the charts).
This gave me exponentially more gas than usual. Which doesn't particularly bother me, but if you see someone else drinking it, you may want to avoid them for about an hour. They are sure to Rip It! If you're drinking it, then I'll give you some advice, I prefer a steady 'crop dusting' method.
On the plus side this has no calories or carbs and even less sodium than the sugar free Power Rip It.

9Jason's Review:
This is probably the best of the Rip it series of energy drinks. I like the taste of the regular (sugary) version better, but I think that always goes without saying. Due to the calorie tradeoff though, this is much better if you care about your carb consumption. The artificial sweetener flavor isn't that strong, but lasts reasonably long. This didn't heavily detract from my enjoyment of the soda. This version tasted less fruity than the sugary version, but it's plenty carbonated, and stays that way for a long time.
As I've said so many times about the Rip it drinks, for the price, it's as good of an energy drink as you'll get. The energy is good, and better if you drink it without eating, or sometime well after eating. Unlike many energy sodas, I can tell I've been energized when I consume a Rip it Orange Suger Free.

I have run into the same issue of not finding Rip it Citrus Sugar Free in stores. I found a solution! Ask a person that orders if they can still order it, I have done this at two different gas stations on different ends of the state. I order a case at a time and once got it for cost, sweet talk the manager. I got a case for around $16. Wish I still close to that one! I love the sugar free citrus, tastes like Tang with the energy of Red Bull and less than half the cost.

I have been drinking rip it for about three months now. I like it because I don't feel like my heart is racing away. I like the taste and price. I feel I am getting what I paid for.

Rip it Energy Fuel is easily the best tasting Sugar Free Energy Drink on the market. Everything else has that cough syrup afterbite. Some of the other energy drinks have a list of things that sound like a vitamin pill. Which is fine but really if you just want a caffeine boost this is perfect.

you can buy Rip-it in a lot of gas stations

There is a never ending supply of Rip it Energy at major military installations in the middle east. All free. They are baby 6oz cans though. haha.

Drink at least two rip it sugar free a day, lost over 35 lbs., can't beat for the price, and sugar free is what i liked. The other brands are over-priced and their sugar free sucks. rip it is the best.

RIP IT is the sweetest nectar I've ever poured down my esophagus. Just make sure you drink this highly potent ambrosia extremely cold. It becomes more volatile as it warms.

I drink Rip it Energy a lot and for those of you who have trouble find these little gems (ok, not so little), we have them locally (in NJ) at the Dollar Tree dollar store chains. They always seem to have them (but they are not in a fridge - you have to chill them yourself!)

Citrus is best in the Rip it Sugar Free Line. Only one I buy on regular basis. Taste like carbonated OJ. When Wal-Mart quit carrying it (Corporate decision) I found them at several Dollar Trees. If you know anyone, they are supposed to be carried at military stores. Have also found in convenience stores in the Carolinas.

Rip It is sold at Dollar Tree stores. We buy it by the case. Also check your local Everything's a Dollar store for Rip it energy drinks. Good luck!

For those reporting Rip-it energy is no longer at Wal-Mart. If you have a 'Dollar Tree' near you, they currently carry them. Also, if you check out Rip-Its website, it seems there about to ramp up marketing so they might start being distributed to convenience stores.

I love rip it but can not find at wal-mart any more. Where are you finding it?

I love low carb Monster and I also like sugar free Red Bull, just to let you know where I am at with energy drinks. I am usually leery in trying cheap energy drinks as they usually disappoint. I picked up this sugar free Rip it at Family Dollar for 1.00 and I gotta say it is pretty good. I gave it a 7 outta 10 and would describe it as tasting "just like" diet orange soda. So if you like diet orange soda you will like this drink.

A friend turned me on to this and I really enjoy it. Shocked that its only $1 a can. Great taste, zero carbs, zero sugar. 200mg caffeine per can gives a nice buzz. For value this can't be beat, I buy it by the case.

"Dollar Tree" carries Rip It Energy Fuel Citrus X Sugar Free, periodically. You might be able to ask them and order it in bulk through them.

I'm very upset because I found out the Wal mart I normally buy from is no longer going to be having Rip it...I drink these everyday..and am trying to find away to order them on line.

From what I heard, it is Orange Fanta but with added caffeine. Found these a while back at Wally World and have been hooked ever since. Taste good and are cheap especially if you buy them in the 4 packs. Come out to about 80 cents per can in the packs. Edited by Jason: The above statement seems reasonable, except the base flavor is probably orange Faygo, since this is a National Beverage product.

For my money, Rip It Energy Fuel Citrus X Sugar Free is the best energy drink on the market. Period. The big selling point for me is that IT ACTUALLY TASTES GOOD! This is a beverage I can enjoy drinking, not just choke down when I need a kick. On top of that, it does make me feel energized and I rarely feel a big letdown when it wears off. AND on top of all that, it's sugar free, so it can be enjoyed somewhat guiltlessly! Then again, it tastes so good that I'd probably drink it either way!
Julie on 2008-01-03 12:22:19 said:
I love the Flavor, it reminded me of "Fresca" but with a kick, You can take out the Guarana, that would help sell more., Keep the Taurine. It could be sold in more locations, everyone is out of it.
