Can Text:

Big Dawg is silver with some blue, and an angry bull dog image. "Sodium free!" for those who are concerned. But even now in the day of a million and one diets, I haven't heard of a low sodium diet. As usual this is not recommended for children of diabetics.

Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Contains taurine and caffeine as well as vitamins B2, B6, and B12 but isn't very specific about how much.

The flavor in this was so sour that it made my mouth and whole face pucker. It was like drinking grapefruit juice directly after brushing your teeth. The super sour flavor kept me drinking it but I quickly found my stomach rumbling in discontent. The energy on this one was crazy though. Especially for the small 8.3 oz size. I totally felt like a Big Dawg.

Once again, even though a web site is listed, we were unable to find it. The can says that it was produced and imported from the Netherlands.

I want to take a moment to talk about the extra special time spent on the detail of the dog, especially in it's groin area. Somehow I feel like even though dog nutsack is inappropriate, if they are going to put it out there, they should've made it bigger. Big Dawgs don't tote small sacks.

Jason's Review:
Firstly, the dog's genitals are either amusing or revolting, and I can't decide which. Otherwise, the "dawg" is really cute.

I don't deal out a lot of high scores on flavor, lots of 6-7 scores, but this big dawg energy drink is very much to my liking. I think the low sodium makes for a very refreshing drinking experience. The taste is tart, really carbonated, and not too thick, but still heavily sweetened. This soda is imported from the Netherlands, and clearly they know something about energy drink taste that we don't.

From the type of energy boost I got, I feel like this has a solid amount of caffeine in it. I feel I might have some trouble threading a needle after drinking one of these. I think for the strength of this drink, an 8.3oz. serving would probably be enough for most people. The one thing I'd like to see is a $1.49 price tag on this energy drink. Value is the only place the "big dawg" won't score high. If you happen to want less fluid, and more energy, then this is a perfect drink for you.
