When I was a kid, I wanted to be a boxer, to hear the roar of the crowd, like when Iron Mike Tyson knocked out Michael Spinks to unify all 4 heavyweight titles in 1988.
At my age, I won't likely be "dancing under the lights", and if I do, I'll likely be booed and pelted with feces. Thankfully, with DynaPep, I can eat a healthy breakfast, knock back a 4ml micro-shot and feel like a 22-year-old Mike Tyson, getting off his stool to begin a round, instead of coming off stage covered in it.
The new, reformulated cinnamon flavor DynaPep is still very pungently flavored, but the initial taste is more tart, and the aftertaste is more tingly like a cough drop. Both are marked improvements.
I took a DynaPep about 10AM, with increased focus and feeling like "The baddest man on the planet", I attacked the yard work like a middle-aged man covered in clown makeup attacking a 92 lb. Vietnamese woman. Around 4PM, I started losing focus and the affects were wearing off. I'd hardly eaten since breakfast, which I've found can be a grave mistake with DynaPep. The package even states not to take it on an empty stomach.
Also, since the caffeine content in DynaPep is lower than some other drinks, it's likely these feelings were merely caffeine withdrawal (to be clear, this 4ml shot has as much caffeine as a Red Bull, but I'm known to consume 250mg+ at a time).The rest of the time release formula had been and was continuing to do its job.
I don't believe the second generation of DynaPep is yet on the market. If they are priced like the 1st gen, these will likely be available at GNC for about $2.50/each. If you believe the difference between feeling like a primely-conditioned heavyweight boxing champion and a poo-covered washed up tool of the porn industry is worth $2.50, I recommend you buy some.

What has not changed about DynaPep is that after you take it, you think those "World's Strongest Man" events don't look that challenging. For the next several hours, I don't see any structure I don't think, "I could probably headbutt my way through that". One positive, I also didn't seem to have as hard a time focusing as with the original formula. I don't know if that's a change, or just that I ate more food when I took it this time. I think the more empty your stomach is, the more prone you are to getting that "medicine head" feeling.
Advertise HereWhat has changed, and much for the better, is the flavor. Gone is the drain cleaner aftertaste. While you may not still find the aftertaste pleasant, I can say that MENTHO-LYPTUS-LIKE, is much more savory than "drain cleaner". The initial taste use somewhat mediciny, but, since it's probably about 1/3 of an adult dose of cough medicine, there's not a lot to like or dislike about it. I think the aftertaste is a far more legitimate consideration, and it's much improved.
$2.50 is pretty pricey for any energy product, but for something that makes me want to rip my shirt off like "Hollywood"/"Hulk" Hogan, I can't complain. Running a marathon? Moving into a new house? Want better performance at the gym? I guess the value hinges on how much you're willing to spend to physically perform optimally.

DynaPep still comes in the blister packs, like Original DynaPep, but it's re-branded with a new logo, new cylindrical ampule, instead of the old rectangular one. The flames are gone, and replaced with a far more fashionable swooshy design, in this case, in varying shades of red. The side texts (in white) now read, "Increased Focus, Lasts Longer, No Carbs, No Sugar, No Crash". The top left (in yellow), reads, "Energia", which is like energy for people from Mexico, South America, and parts of southern Europe. It goes on (in white) to read, "El Primer Micro-Shot". The top right (in yellow), "1" and (in white) "Micro Shot". In the very center, "New Cinnamon Flavor", with an image of some cinnamon sticks in the background.
The back is white and fairly verbose, "Directions: Take 1 DynaPep super concentrated Micro-Shot directly or add to water or beverage. Do not take on an empty stomach", (I bolded this, it's not bolded on the package, but you should certainly heed this warning), "or exceed 2 Micro-Shots in one day. Warning: Not recommended for children. Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding. Do not take with prescription or over the counter drugs containing ephedrine or pseudo-ephedrine derivatives. If you have sensitivity to caffeine, or a history of medical conditions including high or low blood pressure, diabetes, or heart related conditions, please consult a physician."
