Orange Refin tastes is comparably as pleasing as the Wildberry flavor, which we unanimously agree with a noteworthy achievement for an energy shot.
Eventually, everyone should recognize that the energy shot industry has evolved a great deal in the last 5 years. As a result, 5-hour energy is 5-year antiquated. The "industry leader" which "gets rid of that 2:30" feeling (likely comparable to "having a case of the Mondays"), simply makes a less enjoyable, less affective and more expensive product.
Call me a hipster, but I'm tired of people believing that "energy shot" is synonymous with "5 hour energy". It's more suiting to say that "Latin Pop" is a synonym for "Menudo". Quite frankly, I'd say that 5 hour energy is safely in the lower 50% of energy shots on the market. By comparison, Redfin is in the top 10%.
Unlike so many energy shots, Redfin does not taste like sweaty underarms and 9-volt batteries. The taste is overtly sweet for me, but far more pleasant than the caffeine/headache powder zing you would normally get from this much caffeine. It tastes like several orange jolly ranchers left to dissolve in just enough water to accomplish that task. So, for most people, to say that Redfin orange tastes like dissolved hard candy, is probably not off-putting.
I feel plenty energized by Redfin. Along with DynaPep Energy Micro-shot, On Go Energy Shot, Upshot and 925, Redfin is one of the best easy-to-carry travel energy products. They're great for briefcases, laptop bags, purses, glove boxes and even your pocket. In addition, it doesn't taste deplorable warm, like most energy drinks, so it's great anywhere/anytime.

Since the dawn of time, the bane of energy shots has been the deplorable taste. At first, I think we came to accept that shoving a lot of caffeine into an energy drink, and decreasing the fluid ounces by 3/4 was going to result in a lamentable taste. In 2005, Angie said of 5-Hour Energy Shot, "this might've been one of the worst tasting things I've ever tasted, ever". Sincerely, having tasted the original formula, it did taste a little like fruit-flavored vomit.
Then about a year ago we received 2 energy shots that changed our expectations of energy shots, 925 Energy Power Shot and Redfin Energy Shot Wildberry. These both contained multiples of the caffeine found in most conventional energy drinks, and significantly more than the "big name" energy shots. Meanwhile, there wasn't even a hint of human regurgitation flavor.
Thankfully, the same is true of the new Redfin Orange. Redfin tastes more like a pleasantly sweet uncarbonated energy drink, and less like a sweaty handful of nickles left as a tip on a 3rd shift IHOP table...next to the flavored pancake syrups (like many other energy shots).
For those who don't understand the ramifications of 200mg of caffeine in 2oz. of fluid, let me make some comparisons (statistics from Death by Caffeine):
Redfin has 2.5 times as much caffeine as an 8.3oz. Red Bull and more than 10 times the caffeine per oz.
Redfin has 1.25 times the caffeine of a 16oz. Monster and 10 times the caffeine per oz.
Redfin has 5.71 times the caffeine of a Coca-Cola Classic and 34.5 times the caffeine per oz.
If you find caffeine energizing, I don't see where these numbers shouldn't demonstrate clearly the value proposition of Redfin. I normally enjoy an "energy drink" more than an "energy shot", because, more often than not, I want to also have my thirst quenched. That being said, if I'm interested in energy, and don't want 200+ calories of Rockstar Energy Drink or Monster Energy Drink, this is a man-sized solution to that problem.

8Active Ingredients:
The active ingredients also appear to be nearly equal to Redfin Energy Shot Wildberry Flavor.
Can Text:
The text and packaging theme is essentially the same as Redfin Energy Shot Wildberry Flavor. The key difference, of course, is that it says "Orange" instead of "Wildberry" and the colors are orange/yellow instead of varying levels of blue.
