Can Text:

The Sobe can looks very powerful. It is all black with Sobe Adrenaline Rush highlighted in yellow wih red text. It also has the Sobe Lizards on the front. You know the ones that make a cool 'S' shape but really look like they are getting some 69 action going on.

Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Sobe is a 'Maximum Energy Supplement' that has 2000mg of taurine, 1000mg of d-ribose, as well as guarana, ginseng, and l-carnitine.

This seemed a bit too thick. I felt like I was drinking the syrup from the bottom of a can of pineapples, with a little carbonation. The flavor thickened too quickly to savor the flavor. It's always good to drink when cold, but this was rediculous, I had a hard time getting the last gulp down. The energy was pretty decent, but short lived. I did feel a little light headed for the rest of day, and had a bit of a hard time falling to sleep in a timely manner, although that may have had something to do with the other 3 energy drinks I partook in that day...

Jason's Review:
Sugar can make or break a soda, and with 140 calories, and an eye-popping 37g of carbs, sugar must make up about 20% of the can. I almost had to go get a spoon to finish it. I love the flavor, but I also love butter, and I stopped eating that out of the tub months ago...sometimes we have to sacrifice for our health. I can't place what it tastes like, certainly a form of citrus fruit, but can't place my finger on which, maybe a blend of them...coated in sugar.

In about mid 2001, I used to drink 2 of these every morning. I was sleeping about 3.5 hours a day, and these kept me going pretty good from 8am-5pm, unless Susan or Bert (some of my bosses) wanted to have one of their incredibly boring meetings about stuff they thought mattered. Here's a clue guys..."making money", that's what matters. Anyway, fortunately I was getting a check from them, and selling stuff on eBay during the time I was paid to look busy, because $4 every morning on energy drinks can really add up, especially when you have one of the aforementioned meetings, and you need 2 more to face the second half of the day.

In the time it's been out, I've never seen the price reduced, or even seen the Adrenaline rush on sale. At $1.49, this would be a top 5 for value, but not at its standard $1.99.

Sobe has a lot of Vitamins C, B6 and B12, and folic acid. That is why I find it superior to most of the crap that is in the cooler at c-stores. Tastes way better than red bull, too.

This Sobe Adrenaline Rush saved my life when I was beginner mountain biking, and ran out of oxygen and energy...going uphill. I stopped a food mart place, and just happened to see it, bought, and have been drinking it for 3 years now, in combination with brain vitamins etc. It seriously gave me the energy to work long hours, maintain great energy level, accomplish a lot of achievements. Sometimes it seems too sweet, and sometimes I don't taste the sweetness at all. It really is a great energy drink, and if it wasn't sweet at all, I'd still drink it...I also drink rooibush tea without sweeteners as well.

i wish this drink would be in the sobe "no fear" size can, instead of the bullet shape.....although that would be alot of sugar..

the citrus flavor of Sobe Adrenaline Rush is a bit musky, but the energy boost is really good and lasts a while.
