Can Text:

The packaging is a little bland, and, dare I say, confusing. At first glance, I feel like maybe the big red dot makes me think it's Japanese drink. In fact the sugar-free white can could be mistaken for a Christain Hosoi energy drink. This can is mostly black and the name appears in a white Vidal Sassoonish font, and the subtitle "Energy Experience" appears below in smaller metallic letters. Then there's the mysterious giant red dot, for which there is no explanation. Flip the can around, and there's an even more confusing "Saturday Night Fever"/"Charlie's Angels"ish silhouette of a woman with a disjointed hip standing in front of what I'd guess is not only a giant red dot, but a giant red light.

The (thankfully) scant text on the back reads, "Get ready to be unstoppable", yes, it claims to make you unstoppable. "Nothing gives it all to you like Vegas Fuel", yes, it claims to give it all to you. "Push the Envelope. Fuel your experience. Put a little Vegas in you.". Afterwards, I'd recommend putting a little penicillin in you to get rid of that little bit of Vegas.

Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
So, what's in there? Try to pay attention, I'm only going over this once (mg/% USRDA, if listed, per serving): Sugar 27g/9%, Niacin 20mg/100%, Vitamin B6 5mg/250%, Vitamin B12 4.8mg/80%, Pantothenic Acid 5mg/50%, Taurine 1g, Glucuronolactone 75mg, Caffeine 75mg, Panax Ginseng Extract 50mg, Guarana Seed Extract 50mg, Inositol 25mg.

Besides being the most dangerous place for boxers/former boxers (See Oscar Bonevena, Sonny Liston, Leavander Johnson), it remains a good place good place for the average Joe to get murdered, contract something unsightly, and lose all their money and dignity. As a result, it's the first place I think of when considering a delicious carbonated energy fruit punch (boxing pun intended).

Seriously, VegasFuel tastes ok. It's pretty much carbonated Hawaiian Punch. Since the average person doesn't have a carbonater at home, and Tahitian Treat isn't always readily available, VegasFuel is available (at the time of this review) to the masses in our online energy drink store for $1.12/can. Not a bad price, particularly if you like fruit punch, taurine, and guarana seed extract.

This drink was on the verge of ineffective for me. Besides being a little ashamed to go out in public with this can which looks a little like a promotional can for some adult entertainment facility, drinking it ultimately seems ineffectual. I usually chase it with a can of Guru Energy Lemonade.

At around $1 a can, on paper this is a good drink. The ingredients are reasonable, and should be be effective. Perhaps different people will react differently to it, and $26 is not a great investment to find out if it works for you, particularly since it tastes pretty good.

Jason's Review:
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, this drink happens in Phoenix, AZ, but I still wouldn't be horribly offended if it stayed in either Vegas or Phoenix. Tahitian Treat, that's all I can say, it's Tahitian Treat with some added energy stuff. Call me brand loyal, but I'd be more inclined to buy it if it was called TahitianFuel, which would make as much sense as VegasFuel. In both cases, I think of undereducated impoverished people, which isn't incredibly energizing.

VegasFuel tastes good in any situation that you would say, "Hey, let's walk a mile to the store barefoot and get a Tahitian Treat!". If you find yourself in this state, be careful not to freak out when your friend's teeth look like they're bleeding, as this drink will make your teeth as red as chewing a tube of "903B Captive" Wet n Wild lipstick (which didn't taste pleasant).

Around $1, this drink is actually competitive with the pricing on Tahitian Treat. Value is really the only basis on which I'd purchase this drink. If you love fruit punch, I'd recommend Bookoo Energy Punch, but for all intents and purposes, Bookoo appears to be out of business (siting no reply from my contacts at the company, and the general unavailability of their product in stores and online). There are a great deal of more energizing drinks, and I find the taste overtly sweet. If you enjoy 27g of sugar in 8.3oz. of drink, are somewhat afraid of overindulging in caffeine, and want a case of this 24 drinks for $26, buy it in ouronline energy drink store.

If you're into fruity sugary things, you might enjoy Vegasfuel. I tried it at a local gas station and I was pretty satisfied with its taste. While it didn't give me a boost in energy, or make me want to run around all night, I did like that I could down it really fast, if I was in a hurry due to it's smooth taste, unlike some energy drinks which will bite back.

first off, your figures on ingredients are off. you give the totals of 71 mg of caffeing per can. that is wrong. it's 71 mg of caffeine per serving and there are 2 servings in a can for a total of 142 mg. if you are going to pride yourself on being a reviewer of energy drinks, at least get your facts straight. as for your opinion of the taste, well that is all subjective. this stuff rocks. who gives a darn what the can looks like. you guys need to get over yourselves. Edited by Jason: Know-it-alls embarrass themselves immensely when they are wrong about pointing out that someone else is wrong. 8.4oz can = 1 serving = 71mg of caffeine. So, our figures couldn't be more right, and you couldn't seem more ignorant. So, in summation, our facts are straight as an arrow, and we can continue to pride ourselves on being reviewers of energy drinks (having completed phase 1 of your rigorous approval process). Lastly, what is caffeing?
