Can Text:
The can looks like a cross between a hair band album cover, and ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling, which was bought by WWF). The barbed wire trim made me chant "EC Dub" the whole way down I-95, while the lightning bolts made me want to "rock out" to Slayer all night long, 'til the break of dawn.
Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Kronik is packed full of some of the usual ingredients: 2000mg taurine, 100mg guarana, 100mg ginseng, 50mg inositol. It also has some other extracts such as ginko biloba which delivers oxygen to the brain making it easier to remember. Kronik also has 50 mg of milk thistle which aids in a variety of bodily functions, most notably stimulates bile flow. In other words... is a laxitive. So at least you can use this to take a break from the Metamucil.

I really had high aspirations for this soda. The can looks so appealing to me. I think they should've highlighted the mini barbed wire around the top and bottom of the can more. I think it tasted like morning breath. I really had a hard time with this one, and given my high hopes for it I was completely disappointed. Not to mention the name. Webster says that chronic means 'constantly vexing, weakening, or troubling'. Talk about an oxymoron. It doesn't sound good, it doesn't roll off the lips, and it's not even an adorably funny oxymoron. I don't know what kind of idea these guys are trying to send, but adding the extra 50 cents definitely gives me a bad message. Who do they think they are? They can't just go raising the price like that.
The top of the can clearly states that it is an 'unrelenting energy supplement'. I guess that's true if by unrelenting they mean average. They should change that so it says 'mediocre energy supplement". The caution on the bottom of the can caught my eye. 'May be psychologically addicting'. I think that's supposed to be a play on the name being Kronik. I'm pretty sure that people that partake in the chronic aren't really interested in energy drinks.

2Jason's Review:
Has a fruity taste that is by no means offensive, the electric blue color of the beverage also adds to the drinking experience. When you're packing almost 300 calories in a can, how can it taste bad? They should have called it pure cane sugar.
It feels really futuristic, as all blue sodas do. Now, the name may make you think you'll be eating cheetos, talking about what the world would be like if it was shaped like a frisby, and used in a giant galactic game of disc golf, while playing 14 straight hours of Tony Hawk Underground 2, but nothing could be further from the truth. I drank this soda before a 7.5 hr. drive, and it was all I needed to keep trucking all the way home. The $2.49 price tag was the detriment though, if you can pick one up cheaper, I recommend it, otherwise, go for a $2 16oz. soda.

Our gas station stopped carrying Kronik. I personally loved it more than any other energy drink I've tried. I've never gotten much of a buzz off an energy drink, so the taste is what I look for. Kronik reminds me of this gin I like...perhaps that's not a good thing though.

I bought a bunch of Kronik when my local convenience store had them for 99 cents a can. Not bad for that price. It's pretty good tasting. Kinda reminded me of the blue full throttle.

I love kronik energy.....I buy it by the case. I have bought it before at Big Lots, a lot cheaper than 7-11 stores.

I was surprised by Kronik's great taste, though it looks more like it belongs in a radiator, and boy the energy!!

I like this energy drink, it has a strong grapefruit taste, which I never liked before I tried Kronik. It might be a little overpowering for some though.

Never tried it, but i hope it makes you high as the usual kronik does. Michigan doesn't really have many energy drinks.

This is the most amazing energy drink ever!!!! It gives me the taste I want and I could care less about how much energy it can give me. Since none of the energy drinks do anyway.

This drink is nasty. It taste like grapefruit with carbonation. It is bitter and does not have any affect on your energy at all. Save yourself $2.00.
