Can Text:This can is by far the coolest can ever. It looks like a mix between a battery (which I believe was their intent with the big "+" sign on the front, and the "it's all positive" slogan), and something for Newman to smuggle dinosaur DNA off the Jurassic Park island. Fortunately, this drink comes with no acidic dinosaur puke on the face. Otherwise "Jolt" is clearly stated in big bold lightning bolty letters. The can also touts "natural caffeine", and "CX2 220 Jolts Caffeine", which I understand to mean there are 220mg of caffeine in this 23.5oz. drink, which puts it in a class with Rockstar Zero Carb
Active Ingredients *Per can, not per serving:
Taurine, Caffeine, Guarana, Ginseng, Vitamin B, lots of carbs

This is an incredibly tasty, yet fairly mild flavored drink. Despite having lots of sugar, it's not very thick. It's like a fizzy Great Bluedini (Kool-aid flavor which I believe has been out of production for about a decade). Either way, if you never had the privilege of having this best of Kool-aid flavors (and trust me, I know Kool-aid like you know the feeling of failure and rejection), imagine anything blue, and what it was taste like carbonated, and you have Jolt Blue. I think this also gets points for not having a nasty aftertaste.
Let me take a step back, and say that Jolt Cola has been pumping out "All the sugar and twice the caffeine." Longer than some of our readers have been alive. Original Jolt may be pre-dated only by Dr. Enuf (1949) and Moxie (1876) among energy drinks still available anywhere in their original form. So, Jolt knows a thing or two about shoving energy and sugar in a can, and they prove it again with Jolt Blue.
Now, at $3, I wouldn't normally toss out a fantastic value rating, but it's really 3 Red Bulls in size, or the same as Monster XXL. It's a lot of drink, the can is cooler, there's a lot of caffeine, and it drinks smoothly. This is right on the verge of a perfect 10. If they shoved about 100mg more of caffeine in the can, I'd give them 10s across the board.

This tastes a lot like Bawls to me, which makes sense, as it's got guarana in it. As a sidenote, I'm glad to see that the American market is finally welcoming guarana with open arms. Josta (a defunct, at least in America, Pepsi guarana product) was just a decade too early, apparently. Anyway, I think this has a little more flavor than Bawls, but I think it goes in the same direction. They are both equally extra fizzy, which I like.
I was pretty jacked after drinking this soda. It's easy drinking, even for a big drink. Since I consumed it quickly, I probably got a more profound energizing affect than with other drinks. For anyone arguing this shouldn't affect the rating, I would argue that this drink proves that a very energizing drink doesn't have to taste like rotten fruit and potpourri.
This is like caviar, if you want the best, you have to pay for it. For my energy dollar, this has everything that Chaser Energy Shot has, only with the great taste, and lot of it to enjoy. If I'm at the cooler, both drinks are $3, I'm taking this over Monster XXL every time.
