Fortify tastes great, like a mixture of lemon lime slushy and Gatorade. The can instructs you to open and let "fortify" for 30 seconds, which I did with the first can, but it was a little powdery. I discovered on the second can that if I let it "fortify" for about 2 minutes, the mix does a lot better, and everything goes down smoothly.
Now, if you're confused, yes, this can has ingredients that mix with the drink when you open the can. So there is a little bucket-like thing in the can as you drink it. All the goodies are in that little storage bucket, and go into the drink when you open it.
Now, whether those ingredients being fresh makes a difference, I don't know, the company says it does, and who am I to question? It certainly works, as I was jacked through 2 meetings, which normally I sleep through.

Fortify Energy Plus comes in a snazzy green tall can. The blocks that cover the can remind me of Mooninites from Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the hilarious Atari like noises that they make. You'll find a short section on the can that will instruct you to drink Fortify correctly. Wait a second, directions? To drink and energy drink? The shorter version of the directions excludes any colorful fonts or handy images, but basically says to wait for about 30 seconds before you start enjoying the beverage.
Advertise HereFortify is packed with all the usual B vitamins, and taurine but also has 100mg creatine, 320mg potassium, and 135mg caffeine.
Following the directions carefully I opened the can and waited. I began to get worried when Energy Plus portion mixed with the energy drink portion and it began to fill the top of my can with fizzy mixture. This included some small sugary clumps that would occasionally catch a bubble and rise above the can before popping. I waited to find that it would eventually fill the whole top of the can and begin to spill over if I hadn't decided to directly disobey the can's explicit directions and sip the extra off the top of the can when it hit me? This stuff is awesome!
It is uniquely refreshing in a way that other energy beverages are certainly not. The taste is similar to Gatorade, but with a much lighter (not watered down) fruitiness. It is lightly, freshly carbonated and very smooth. I couldn?t get enough of Fortify and probably drank it in record time. It gave me plenty of energy to plow through the ever growing laundry pile and pay the bills before I would usually even be getting started for the day. Thanks Fortify!
